2011 Early Care and Education Awards Dinner

Each year, we celebrate those people and organizations within our community that make a difference in the lives of children. In total, we recognize individuals, organizations, and child care programs that have made strides and contribute to this cause.

Young’s TLC Daycare, established by Mr. Emsee Young and Mrs. Diane Young, is  the 2011 Business Award Winner.
Ms. Tressia Carr is the 2011 Child and Adult Care Food Program Award Winner.
Mr. Damon Allen is the 2011 Peg Agnello-Kulu Scholarship Award Winner.
TLC Childcare Center, directed by Ms. Patty Connors, is the 2011 Center-Based Program Award Winner.
American Red Cross Buffalo Chapter is the 2011 Corporate Award Winner.
Jumpstart Learning Childcare and Pre-School, operated by Ms. Michelle Gonsiorek, is the 2011 Home Based Child Care Program Award Winner.
Nestor Hernandez, Executive Director of The Belle Center is the 2011 Dorothy B. Millard Award Winner.
James McNeil is the 2011 School Age Child Care Award Winner.

Th
e Master of Ceremonies was Cathy Hoffman from Channel 2 News and WNYMoms.com. Cathy spoke of the need for child care providers, families, and the community to come together and support each other in order to give quality early care and education to all children.

“Thank you” to all the businesses and organizations that made donations to the basket auction and to the dinner.
