National Issues

On March 2, 2012 Dateline NBC showed a segment where Chris Hanson investigated daycares and background checks. Following the story, much debate arose on the regulation of child care programs throughout the country.
The National Association for Regulatory Administration (NARA) issued a response.

State Issues

In his 2012 State of the State Address, Governor Cuomo made a promise to be a lobbyist for students.
Early Care & Learning Council wants Governor Cuomo to know our youngest students need him too.
Investments in early care and education are good for children and taxpayers too! Children who have quality early care and education are less likely to repeat grades, need special education, and are more likely to graduate.
