Directors as Leaders offers an annual conference as professional development. Annual conferences are specifically designed for early childhood leaders, including center directors, owners, program coordinators, family child care providers and other program supervisors.

This year’s Directors as Leaders conference was held at Hearthstone Manor on Friday, March 4th, 2011. It was a day filled with networking, workshops, and amazing vendors.
Amy Remmele was our keynote speaker. Amy Remmele, owner of Peak of Success, is the Psych-cess coach, balancing sound psychological lessons with business success principles. She is the author of Chief Life Officer: Your Life Is The Most Important Business You’ll Ever Own (CLO), uses business as a metaphor of life, and outlines people’s inner “departments” and how they function best through an authentic, shared mission. Lakeshore Learning provided our lunch time training and gave away amazing resources to be utilized in several programs across Western New York. We give many thanks to Matt Mignogna, our regional manager, for his time, energy, and expertise.
